About Prospectus Prep
A small independent team building free, blueprint-weighted SIE practice — because reps on the heavy areas beat another pass through a textbook.
Prospectus Prep is a small, independent team that builds free practice for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. We are not a brokerage, not a big test-prep publisher, and not affiliated with FINRA. We are people who got tired of watching candidates pour even hours into four unequal content areas and then wonder why the studying did not stick. So we built the opposite of that.
What this site is
One free, interactive question bank weighted the way the exam is actually weighted, plus a study plan and a blueprint breakdown that tell you where the points really live. Everything here is free to use with no signup. If you want the same drills in your pocket — on the bus, in a waiting room, in the ten minutes before an interview — there is a companion app. The site is the free front door; the app is for when you want to carry the reps with you.
Why we drill instead of lecture
The SIE is broad, and the trap is treating “broad” as “even.” It is not even. Two of the four content areas — products and their risks, and trading, accounts & prohibited activities — are roughly three-quarters of every exam between them. The regulatory framework is a single-digit slice. If you study all four the same, you are spending your scarcest resource, time, in the wrong proportions.
You do not need every point to pass. You need the points that are actually on the exam, in the proportion they are on it.
